Report:  Sawyer is a top 5 signal caller this year in the state of Texas.  He led All Saints Episcopal Schools to an undefeated season which resulted in a SPC state championship.  In his junior year, Sawyer threw for over 2,700 yards and 31 TDs to just 8 INTs including throwing for 450 yards and 6 TDs in the championship game.

His greatest asset is his height at 6'5 which gives him a clearer image of the field.  He's very calm in the pocket and doesn't seem to get flattered often.  If he is forced to move, he has shown on video that he is a very capable passer on the run.  He has a decent arm and throws a consistent spiral on video.  His biggest flaw seems to be him pushing the ball on deep throws which you can see on his video.  However, he has reportedly gained more strength recently and been able to make easier throws.
