Report:  Speed, speed, and more speed.  Platt may be the fastest player to sign with a Big 12 school this year having already won two 400 state titles.  Platt breaks away from countless defenders on video and runs down many when he's on defense.  While the recruiting services see him playing offense, he does play on defense in high school too.  At 5'11/170, he's pretty thin, but does land an occasional big hit on defense.  In the little video I watched, he was able to bring some of that physicality to the offensive side of the ball primarily in down field blocking.  Oh yea, he was also the special teams player of the year in 2012 too.  Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports all list him as a 3-star prospect, but that's low in my opinion.  In my mind, Platt will be one of the more underrated commitments this year in the Big 12.
